# Gator / Sheba / Campus Queen

The Bally pinball machines *Gator* (1969), *Sheba* (1965), and *Campus Queen* (1966) share technical similarities, yet each offers a distinct thematic experience. *Gator*, featuring zipper flippers and mushroom bumpers, became notable for its vibrant artwork by Jerry Kelley and unique flipper mechanics. With 2,120 units produced, it remains a popular choice among collectors. *Sheba*, released in 1965, had a limited production of 825 units and was one of the earlier designs by Ted Zale. Its playfield layout was reused in both *Gator* and *Campus Queen*, with the latter targeting a college audience and featuring a more colorful campus theme.
