# Orbit / Outer Space

The *Orbit* and *Outer Space* pinball machines, released by Gottlieb in 1971, are nearly identical except for the number of players: *Orbit* supports four players, while *Outer Space* is a two-player version. Both games share the same playfield design, featuring three pop bumpers, a vari-target, a spinner, and two flippers. These machines focus on a space theme and were designed by Ed Krynski with artwork by Gordon Morison.
