# Cirsa-Unidesa

Cirsa-Unidesa was a short-lived Spanish pinball manufacturer and venture of Cirsa, the Terrassa-based gaming group founded by Manuel Lao Hernández in 1978, that entered the pinball market in the mid-1980s through its Unidesa and Stargame affiliates to serve Spain’s amusement-arcade market. Leveraging licensed Williams kits and artwork, Cirsa-Unidesa produced local versions of popular Williams machines such as Space Shuttle, High Speed and PIN·BOT and assembled imported electronic kits while also releasing original solid-state titles—most notably Mephisto, White Force and Sport 2000—tailored for Spanish arcades facing high import duties at the time. Active roughly between 1986 and 1989, Cirsa-Unidesa’s licensed adaptations and original pinball designs left a lasting imprint on Spanish pinball history and collectors’ circles as an example of regional production, licensed manufacturing, and original Spanish pinball design.
