 Along the way, you’ll encounter bandits that try to steal your belongings and magical wards that attack you.*   ![Pinball machine screen showing Ice & Lightning Mode start screen](https://media.kineticist.com/posts/sorcerers-apprentice-revealed/inline/6839ce5ffb20ac198524c211_658318accdc0d47534049cb5_Alex-PXL_20210816_215818512.jpeg) *There are some new aspects to gameplay in this game, like managing an array of spells.  Specifically, after learning a spell, it gets added to your inventory, and some of your future objectives are protected by one or more magical elements.  You then use alternate buttons (the white buttons on the P3) to select the desired spell before hitting a shot.  If you have the right spell selected, you’ll complete the objective.  If not, your shot has no effect, or worse, it could result in you getting attacked!
