Gottlieb & Co. in 1970, are nearly identical in design but differ in player capacity—Groovy supports four players, while Crescendo is a two-player version. Designed by Ed Krynski with artwork by Art Stenholm, both machines feature vibrant artwork reflecting the era's psychedelic aesthetic. Notably, these games were the first from Gottlieb to feature modern-style drop targets, a significant innovation at the time.
