In pinball community discussions, fans have expressed interest in Muse as a theme that could work well in pinball format, with some community members noting their appreciation for the band's catalog including songs like "Supermassive Black Hole," "Uprising," and "Supremacy." The concept has been grouped with other wishlist music licenses that players believe could translate effectively to the pinball medium, though it remains in the realm of fan speculation. A Muse pinball machine would offer rich possibilities for designers to explore. The band's space and science fiction aesthetics, particularly from albums like "Black Holes and Revelations" and "The 2nd Law," could translate into striking visual themes featuring cosmic imagery, futuristic dystopian elements, and the band's iconicSymbolism artwork. Gameplay could incorporate the dramatic buildups and crescendos characteristic of Muse's music, with modes themed around specific albums or songs, multiball features synced to their anthemic choruses, and progressive objectives reflecting the conceptual nature of their work. The extensive catalog of high-energy tracks would provide excellent audio integration opportunities, from the driving riffs of "Hysteria" to the orchestral bombast of "Knights of Cydonia," creating an immersive sonic experience that captures the theatrical intensity of a Muse concert.
