About This Theme

Pinball Circus is not a franchise or intellectual property but rather an experimental pinball machine designed by Python Anghelo and manufactured by Williams in 1994. Only two prototypes were ever produced, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after pinball machines in existence. The machine featured a revolutionary vertical design with three stacked playfields arranged in a tower configuration, completely reimagining the traditional horizontal pinball layout. Its circus theme incorporated clowns, acrobats, and other big top elements across its multiple levels. The machine's cultural significance lies in its status as a "holy grail" of pinball collecting and its representation of the ambitious experimentation that characterized the industry during the 1990s golden age of pinball design.
