All American Amusements

All American Amusements was a U.S. amusement company that entered the pinball business in 1987 with Super Flipp, released under the name A.A. Amusements. Pinball databases credit the machine's actual manufacture to Fiam Elettronica, an electronics company based in Settimo Torinese, Italy, with All American Amusements handling its release in the United States.

Super Flipp combines a gumball dispenser with a coin-operated pinball game in a small, freestanding cabinet. A player inserts a coin and turns a knob, which releases a gumball from the backbox while sending a marble to the shooter lane. The playfield has three holes: one drops the marble, one returns it to the shooter, and one awards it to the player. The machine runs entirely on mechanical linkages, with no electronic scoring.

The company's only other known release, All American Odd Ball, followed in 1988 as a solid-state, upright-cabinet pinball machine. No further titles under the All American Amusements name have surfaced, and its activity in pinball appears to end there.
