Cirsa-Unidesa

Cirsa-Unidesa was a Spanish pinball manufacturer that operated from 1986 to 1988, a brief venture by Cirsa, the amusement-machine group founded in Terrassa, near Barcelona, in 1978 by brothers Manuel and Juan Lao Hernández. Pinball ran through two subsidiaries — Unidesa, founded in 1982, and Stargame, an independent maker in which Cirsa took a controlling stake — and games carried the Unidesa, Stargame, or combined Cirsa-Unidesa name depending on the release.

Beginning in late 1985, Cirsa arranged with Williams for 500-kit runs of Comet, High Speed and Space Shuttle, paying for rights to reproduce the artwork and electronics, and later assembled PIN·BOT and Big Guns from kits as well. Alongside the licensed titles it designed original solid-state machines, including Space Ship (1986), Mephisto (1987) and White Force (1987), before closing out an eleven-title catalog with Sport 2000 in 1988.
