Jac Van Ham

Jac van Ham was a Dutch pinball manufacturer based in Tilburg, in the south of the Netherlands. Pinball was a brief sideline for the company's founder, who had built a Tilburg jukebox and coin-machine business since 1958; between 1986 and 1988 the company produced a small run of solid-state machines under its own name — Ice Mania (1986), Royal Flippers (March 1987), and Escape (October 1987) — with a final design, Formula 1, never getting past three hand-built prototypes.

Ice Mania shares nearly identical backglass artwork with an unrelated Italian machine of the same name from I.D.I., but the two run entirely different electronics. After pinball, the wider company continued as a Dutch gaming-machine operator, sold to ABN AMRO in 1999, with its gaming business passing to Austria's Novomatic in 2013.
