About
Komputer Dynamics Corporation was a pinball manufacturer organized in 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana, by Richard Payne, Chad Zulich, Ronald Young, and Charles Russell, with a production plant in nearby Spencer. Its only known product is Invasion Strategy — spelled "Invasion Stratogy" on the company's own flyer — a solid-state, two-player machine unveiled at the 1975 MOA Expo in Chicago.
Invasion Strategy set two players at opposite ends of the same playfield, each controlling only the flippers facing their opponent, playing under the on-playfield identities of Mindmasters and Warlords. The game ran two balls at once across eight flippers, with spinner gates and targets that let each player knock out the opponent's upper flippers or devalue their bumpers. Komputer Dynamics disappeared soon after, and Invasion Strategy remains the only machine it is known to have made.
