Pinnovating

Pinnovating is a homebrew pinball project from the Netherlands led by software developer Dennis van der Pas. Its first title, Demolition Man on Steroids, replaced the software of Williams' Demolition Man with new rules running on a P-ROC controller.

Van der Pas then wrote the software for The Matrix, a one-off retheme of Williams' Johnny Mnemonic conceived by Gerard van de Sanden. The machine is on display at the Dutch Pinball Museum.

The third project, Kill Bill, is built on the playfield of Bally's 1994 World Cup Soccer, with a third flipper, three added magnets, a captive ball, a DMD alongside a full-screen monitor, and artwork by Geert Koop of Koop Kustoms. Five were made, dated May 2018. All three titles were shown at UK Pinfest in Daventry in August 2018, where van der Pas and van de Sanden gave a seminar on Kill Bill.
