Viza Manufacturing was a short-lived but distinctive pinball maker of the late 1970s, best known for its two-player, head-to-head cocktail table War (1978) and the extremely rare/cancelled Fabulous 50's (1979), titles that set the company apart from mainstream upright cabinet producers. War was produced in both electro-mechanical and solid-state versions, incorporated digital score displays, and features playfield artwork taken from Frank Frazetta’s painting The Berserker, highlighting Viza’s unusual design and visual choices for the era. Fabulous 50's was produced in a two-player cocktail format under contract for Allied Leisure, used LED digit-segment displays like other Allied cocktail games, and was ultimately canceled, making surviving examples (and parts) exceptionally rare among collectors. Viza’s consistent use of compact head-to-head cocktail designs and early adoption of digital/LED scoring technology, despite limited production, has earned the company attention from pinball enthusiasts, restorers, and historians seeking unique late-1970s innovations in playfield format and electronics.
