Wonderland Amusements is a pinball manufacturer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded in 2024 to build mechanical pinball machines for the home. The company is headed by CEO and creative director Jerry Cummings, who came to pinball from ThinkUp, the firm that designed cabinets for the Arcade1Up range of home arcade video games. Other staff worked on Arcade1Up as well, and on New Wave Toys' Replicade miniatures. Wonderland showed its plans in public for the first time at Pinball Expo 2024, with a stand displaying a proposed cabinet and a hint at the theme of its first game.
That game was Alice Goes to Wonderland. Its Kickstarter campaign opened on 11 March 2025 with a $100,000 goal, passed it within minutes, and closed a month later at $631,516 from 620 backers. To hold the retail price at $999, the company builds at about 80 percent of arcade scale, which shrinks the ball from 27mm to 22mm, and manufactures in China. Artwork is by Carlos Mendoza III, with sound by Richard Sellers and Wes McCraw. Sales were limited to the United States, Canada and Mexico at launch, and the first public hands-on was at WonderCon in Anaheim that March.
Alongside toppers, 3D playfield sculpts and lighting kits for Alice, the company has moved into licensed titles. A second pinball machine, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Battle in the Sewer, is due to ship in October 2026, followed by a two-player table hockey game, TMNT: Sewer Hockey, in November 2026.
