Sydney spreads its pinball machines across a wide metro area, from the inner city to the Northern Beaches and out to Western Sydney. The scene includes dedicated barcades, tournament clubs, traditional pubs, and large entertainment venues.
Most pinball concentrates in the inner suburbs, but you'll also find machines in Penrith to the west, Mona Vale up north, and the newer developments in Oran Park. Here's where to find pinball across the Sydney metro.

Barcade · Redfern
Beercade Australia operates as the showroom for Z Ball Amusements in Redfern, combining a bar setup with a rotating collection of pinball machines. The venue hosts monthly Flip Frenzy tournaments and serves as a regular meeting spot for the Sydney Pinball Club. Machines span classics like Creature from the Black Lagoon to newer titles including Deadpool LE and Elvira's House of Horrors LE.
Pub · Newtown
Courthouse Hotel anchors a corner of Newtown's Australia Street with a large beer garden and a dedicated games area. The pinball selection includes Bram Stoker's Dracula, Ghostbusters LE, and Scared Stiff. Pool tables and Buck Hunter round out the entertainment options.

Flipper Fellowship meets weekly at Bayside Anglican Church Hall, making it one of the few church-based pinball clubs globally. The venue houses machines spanning from 1970s electromechanical games to current releases. Thursday sessions run from 5:45pm with a $25 adult entry ($15 for students) covering four hours of play. Monthly Saturday competitions carry IFPA sanctioning, and the club hosts the NSW Pinball Championships.

Willie's Wondercade operates from Mary Street in St Peters, adjacent to the Willie the Boatman brewery. The arcade maintains titles including Addams Family, Alien (Remake), Big Lebowski, Ghostbusters Pro, and Godzilla Pro.

Koko Amusement spans three levels at its Town Hall flagship, making it one of Sydney's largest arcade venues. The pinball selection sits among claw machines, rhythm games, and VR experiences. Oran Park Hotel opened in early 2025 as a $50 million entertainment precinct in South Western Sydney. The 7,500 sqm venue spans three levels with seven bars, a bistro, pizzeria, two cinemas, and a rooftop bar. Pinball machines sit in the Sports Bar games area alongside pool tables and darts. The venue offers free pinball on Monday nights.
Sydney's pinball scene suits different approaches. Tournament players can find IFPA-sanctioned competition at Flipper Fellowship and Beercade Australia. Casual players have options at traditional pubs like Courthouse Hotel or the mega-arcade at Koko Amusement. Families might consider Park House Hotel on the Northern Beaches or the kid-friendly entertainment at Oran Park Hotel.
