Summary
BlahCade Pinball Podcast compares digital pinball platforms and critiques Farsight's EM releases while teasing upcoming tables.
Chris and Jared discuss digital pinball platforms (Pinball Arcade vs Zen Pinball 3), focusing on community engagement features in Zen that drive competitive play. They critique Farsight's recent EM table releases (Spanish Eyes, Wild Card) for lighting and rendering issues, and speculate about upcoming TPA tables including Pistol Poker and possibly Banzai Run. They also explore whether a mid-season break for bug fixes will return this year.
two false-starts, we get right into the swing of the podcast with a decent amount of stuff. There’s the usual talk around this time of month about Pinball Arcade’s table release and next game clue. Then we enter speculation mode about whether Farsight will do another Bugfixapalooza at the end of this season. Jared also has a golden opportunity for folks with too many pinballs wanting a safe place to store them.
