Stern Ripley’s Believe It Or Not MPU - Display Inop

Chris Hibler documents a repair of a Stern Ripley's Believe It or Not pinball machine's Whitestar-modified MPU board, which was stuck in a splash-screen boot loop. He attributes the problem to a likely ribbon cable issue or a 74HCT273 chip at U201, replaces the chip, and then works through switch matrix and lamp column tests, ultimately finding the lamp column 4 fault was caused by his own switch tester connectors.
