Video

Summary

Expo 2026 showcase of a heavily customized Stern Lord of the Rings built by a hobbyist owner with community modders.

A video recorded at Pinball Expo 2026 shows a heavily modified Stern Lord of the Rings machine, owned by a hobbyist named Alec Gleason, displayed in the Electric Playground booth. The owner discusses the custom build, which includes gold-plated (powder-coated) parts, custom translite, laser-etched apron, custom lighting and audio, and credits a community of modders and artists for the work. The video is primarily a showcase of the customized machine rather than a source of news about the manufacturer.

From the creator

Never have I've seen a more tasteful modded LOTR. Gold *powder coat*, not plating. It looked fantastic regardless. The right flipper started to flutter a bit at the end. 100M+ on the board at the end of the day. TLDW; Fast forward towards the end and learn about the modders that did the hard work on the mods in this game.
