Stralingsalarm in het Dutch Pinball Museum ☢️ Het is nog donker in het museum. Eén figuur in een beschermend pak loopt tussen de flipperkasten door, geigerteller in de hand. Het apparaat tikt. Harder. Nog harder. De oorzaak? Er is iets binnengekomen uit een verwoeste toekomst: Fallout, de nieuwe flipperkast van Stern Pinball. Fallout is ontworpen door Keith Elwin, de GOAT van pinball. Hij is nog steeds een van de beste flipperspelers ter wereld en ontwierp daarnaast kasten als Iron Maiden, Jurassic Park en Godzilla. Kortom: als Keith iets maakt, willen wij het meten. Dus gaan we op onderzoek. Eén voor één springen zijn eerdere kasten aan, met hun eigen muziek, en één voor één gaat de geigerteller erlangs. De tocht eindigt bij de bron van alle straling: de eerste Fallout-flipperkast op locatie in Europa. Goed nieuws: vanaf nu speel je hem zelf in het Dutch Pinball Museum in Rotterdam. A lone figure in a protective suit moves between the pinball machines, Geiger counter in hand. It starts ticking. Faster. Louder. The cause? Something has arrived from a scorched future: Fallout, the brand new pinball machine from Stern Pinball. Fallout was designed by Keith Elwin, the GOAT of pinball. He is still one of the best players in the world, and the designer behind Iron Maiden, Jurassic Park and Godzilla. When Keith builds something, we want to measure it. So we went investigating. One by one, his earlier machines come to life with their own soundtracks, and one by one the Geiger counter checks them out. The journey ends at the source of all that radiation: the first Fallout pinball on location in Europe. The good news: you can now play it yourself at the Dutch Pinball Museum in Rotterdam.
