Summary
EGP hosts debate P3's mystery licensed game hype and warn against theme-based pre-orders.
Dennis and Tony from Eclectic Gamers discuss recent gaming and pinball experiences, including hands-on time with Rush pinball at Pizza West tournament and speculation about Multimorphic's P3's upcoming licensed game. They critique the hype-building marketing strategy and express caution about pre-ordering based on theme alone without gameplay experience, drawing parallels to the overhyped Wonka release.
In pinball discussion we talk about finally playing Rush and P3's hype antics. We then play a new game submitted by Matt Roberts and finally we do Rumor Corner. In video games discussion we go over Activision-Blizzard, the fate of a Nintendo hacker, Paradox Interactive's working practices, No Man's Sky updates, Final Fantasy 14, and Horizon Forbidden West.
