Episode 182 – Return Of The Roo Sack

Slam Tilt covers Deep Root auction fallout, Barry Osler's tragic death, and Stern's Rush scoop crisis.

In this Slam Tilt Podcast episode, hosts Ron Hallett and Bruce Nightingale interview Knapp Arcade (Knapp Arcade) about his entry into pinball and his pinball news site. The discussion covers recent Deep Root Pinball auction details, the death of pinball designer Barry Osler, and a major Stern Pinball letter detailing production increases, supply chain challenges, and the cancellation of the April Cornerstone game. A significant portion focuses on the problematic Rush scoop design that's causing playfield damage on Pro models, which Stern has allegedly stopped producing while refusing to provide clear warranty guidance on removal.
