Central Virginia’s largest arcade is Decades Arcade in Charlottesville, VA has arcade games from the 80s and 90s, home consoles from the 70s to today, and four decades worth of pinball machines. The pinball machine collection is museum quality, and all of your favorite video games are here like Donkey Kong, Centipede, and Pac Man. All games are free play for a low flat fee and there are vending machines to tide you over – but bring food because you’ll want to be here a while. Arcade Odyssey is a top-rated arcade experience with recognizable classics like PacMan and asteroids, modern titles like Mario Kart and Dance Dance Revolution, extremely rare games like Meltdown and Aarr Technologies’ Jet-Ball and unique imported Japanese arcade games. A whole row of Candy cabinets keep the games fresh and the back of the arcade is a Lan Center PC setup where regular gaming tournaments take place. Pinball machines here range from 90’s to the latest popular themes. Odyssey also serves craft beer, ciders, and imported beers, Japanese sodas and sakes. Everything at Odyssey but the bar runs on tokens.

LeaderBoard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria in Orange Park near Jacksonville, FL took over an Applebee’s and kept the layout: a bar in the center surrounded by modern arcade games, including a great selection of Japanese games, Dance Dance Revolution and modern pinball machines. The pizza alone is worth the trip and the fried jalapenos do not disappoint either. Grab a beer, cocktail or Japanese soda and fill your game card. Time to get on the leaderboard. 

Round1 Bowling and Amusements in Philadelphia’s Fashion District Mall is an anchor of amusements for the entire family. Enjoy bowling, professional-grade billiards, karaoke, ping pong, darts, and a small gambling area. In the arcade, you’ll find Dance Dance Revolution, basketball, claw machines, redemption games, skeeball, air hockey, exclusive Japan imports and a few pinball machines. Round1 also offers a variety of favorite snack foods – such as pizza, wings, ice cream– and a fully-stocked bar with beer, wine, and cocktails up until 8p.m.
