The "Op-Pop-Pop" pinball machine, released by Bally Manufacturing Co. in April 1969, is a single-player, electro-mechanical game featuring a distinctive psychedelic art theme. Designed by Ted Zale with artwork by Christian Marche, it incorporates unique gameplay elements such as zipper flippers—flippers that close together to prevent the ball from draining—five mushroom bumpers, a bagatelle in the upper playfield, and a left drop lane.
