Yukon Yeti has three separate jackpots:
Try to lag the ball to the upper right flipper. Hit the hidden rollover to increase the skill shot multiplier to 2X or 3X. Complete flashing shots to win 1M plus for each combo times skill shot multiplier.
Super Skill Shot — Same but let the ball drop to the bottom flippers instead of using the upper right flipper to complete the first shot for an additional 2x or 3x multiplier. Making 4 or 5 (depending on which playfield shot was made first) consecutive skill shot combos wins the Skill Shot Jackpot.
Completing the YUKON YETI targets triggers: Soapy Hurryup, Yeti Hurryup, or Double Scoring in that order.
Shoot Kate's Place shot (Spinner) when lit to light the Dawson shot for "Start Mode." The regular modes are Timed or Two-Ball Multiball. Buy the Multiball version using Gold Nuggets. All Multiball modes are followed with a timed mode before the event ends. Time can be added to timer by completing "Narrows" when lit.
Game starts with 5 modes available to play. Complete 2000lbs of supplies to unlock 4 more modes. Play "Claim" mode to unlock the rest. Complete all 12 modes to play Northern Lights Wizard Mode. Complete all 12 modes in rotation to play Super Northern Lights Wizard Mode with higher scoring.
Completing the following items reveals a segment of a treasure map of Yukon Yeti's Secret Stash:
Completed map segments win from 1M to 100M at end of game (bonus). Completing all map segments triggers the Yukon Yeti Secret Stash Wizard Mode. The Secret Stash has minimum 20 Gold Nuggets plus one additional gold nugget for each accumulated plus additional gold nuggets won during the Secret Stash wizard mode.
Various features award Gold Nuggets to the player. This is shown in the flipper area. Each gold nugget won scores 1M times X as outhole bonus and adds 1M to the standard jackpot value.
Shoot the "Glacier" (Newton Ball) or Drop Target when lit to win gold nuggets. The best way to win gold nuggets is to start the Yeti Hurryup (see Spell Yukon Yeti above), collect the Yeti Hurryup, then shoot the trap door on upper playfield. This triggers the pop bumpers to score gold nuggets.
The Yeti can steal gold nuggets. If this happens, shoot the "Recover" shot to get them back. There are several times when a player can use Gold Nuggets to buy game enhancements. If a player maxes-out the gold nugget lamps near flippers, they can continue to accumulate more gold nuggets.
The "Glacier" (Newton Ball) or Drop Target can award Gold Nuggets when lit. They award 1 Gold Nugget for no claim or "Good" claim, 2 Gold Nuggets for "Better" claim, and 3 Gold Nuggets for "Best" claim. Play the "Claim" mode to stake a claim.
Shoot the "Glacier" (Newton Ball) to Add-A-Ball when lit.
Complete "Lite" and "Lock" at Chilkoot Pass to lock balls in the Chilkoot Pass Mech. Locking three balls gives a player's choice to lock ball or start multiball. Locking the fifth ball automatically starts Avalanche Multiball.
During Avalanche Multiball, the number of locked balls when started determines the maximum jackpot multiplier (3-ball = 3X, 4-ball = 4X, and 5-ball = 5X). Winning 5 jackpots lights the Super Jackpot shot at "Dawson."
Trap a ball behind the upper right flipper to lock when lit (Golden Falls). A locked ball carries over to the next player. Trap another ball under the upper right flipper or hit the locked ball from below to start Yeti Multiball.
During Yeti Multiball, all playfield scoring accumulated is duplicated as the Jackpot Value, minimum 10M. Trap a ball under the upper right flipper to win the jackpot. When multiball ends, the jackpot shot remains flashing and times out.
Both playfield multipliers are timed. Stack both for 7X.
The following features are only available when not playing a mode or multiball:
When some features/modes end, the "Win Again" shot may be flashing. This is timed. Completing the Win Again shot wins the mode total from the just completed mode again. Example: if you play the 10M mini-mode and win 30M total, then the "Win Again" will award 30M.
The pop bumpers may enhance the mode in some way: During any timed event, pause timer. Pop bumper hits build boat during "Boat" mode. Multiball, Chilkoot, Rapids, Show Down — 250K per pop (each if stacked). Soapy Modes — Add to Soapy's Bounty.
Shoot the "Up Drop" target when lit to reset the drop target. This also lights an award and starts a short timer. The award can be Add Supplies, Win Gold, or Light Save. The drop target may trip when it times out. The award priority is: "Light Save" unless save is currently lit, then "Supplies" if player has not completed 2000lbs, else win gold nugget(s).
The outlanes can be lit to save the ball. Use flipper to move the "Save" to the same side. When unlit, the drop target can light the feature.
Completing the three left targets advance multiplier, binary up to 7X. Completing 2000lbs of supplies wins "Hold X". The game will remember the multiplier to start next ball. If lit on last ball, the outhole bonus will be collected twice.
Upper playfield shot lights the Trading Post when lit. Player chooses to win a Mystery Award or Buy an Item with Gold Nuggets when they have 5 or more gold nuggets.
The Yeti can steal gold nuggets from the player. Soapy Smith can steal supplies from the player unless they have locked-in 2000lbs. Any stolen items can be recovered at Golden Falls under the upper right flipper.
Press the blue cabinet button to Tap Pass the ball from the other flipper. Watch the color of the lamps by the flippers. They are normally green and when finesse flipping, they will turn yellow and the flip pulse gets weaker. When yellow, the lamps will turn red and a finesse flip may not have enough power to work properly. Wait a few seconds and the feature recharges back to green.
