Jeutel

Jeutel was a French pinball manufacturer founded by Pierre Tel, who registered the company in 1979 after building a games-distribution business, and manufactured out of an industrial zone in Toucy, in Burgundy's Yonne department. Jeutel entered pinball in 1981 with a one-off prototype, Excalibur, then released six production machines over the next five years: Valkyrie (1982), Le King (1983), Olympic Games (1984), Papillon (1984), Apocalypse Now (1985) and Evolution (1986); Le King, the best-documented of them, saw a production run of about 500 units.

Pinball production wound down after Evolution as Jeutel shifted toward arcade cabinets and gaming machines; Tel closed Jeutel's original factory in 1993, and in 2013 he pursued a revival of the Jeutel name through a Luxembourg company, registering trademarks and design patents in France and the Benelux countries.
