Charlie Emery demos Rob Zombie gameplay, rules, modes, and strategy

Spooky Pinball LLC is a pinball manufacturer based in Benton, Wisconsin, a town of about 1,000 people. Charlie Emery started it on February 1, 2013, after leaving a two-decade career in screen printing, naming the company after a pinball-collecting podcast he'd launched with his family in 2010. The company's first machine, America's Most Haunted, arrived in 2014 in a limited run of 150 units, designed with Ben Heck and input from pinball veteran Dennis Nordman. Spooky has stayed a family operation since: Emery's wife, Kayte, and sons Morgan and Corwin "Bug" Emery all work in the business.
Spooky built its name through the mid-2010s on horror and cult titles alongside contract work for outside brands. Rob Zombie's Spookshow International (2016) got a 300-unit run, twice the size of the debut, while the company also built Domino's Spectacular Pinball Adventure (2016) for Domino's — a charity fundraiser featuring the Noid mascot — and manufactured The Jetsons (2017) under contract for The Pinball Company. Total Nuclear Annihilation (550 units) and Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle (500) followed in 2017. Its 750-unit run of Rick and Morty (2020) sold out to preorder-club members in under four hours.
Since then, Spooky has kept scaling: a paired "dual-theme" release strategy produced Halloween and Ultraman: Kaiju Rumble! in 2021, and Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (2023) became its first widebody cabinet, limited to 1,969 units. Looney Tunes and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre followed in December 2023 at 888 units apiece, then Evil Dead in late 2024 with new voice work from Bruce Campbell. Its most recent release, Beetlejuice (November 2025), capped production at 999 units and added voice-control functionality the company calls SpookySpeak.
