The Pinball Show

…..but never in the first 20 minutes of the show. Stay on topic and just start with pinball content instead of 20 minutes of boring banter that the hosts desperately try to sell as interesting.

I come to listen for pinball content, not two random boring guys. Let’s hear more about the exciting work Dennis does. Enough. You have a basic job, nothing exciting to ever broadcast about. Talk about self importance.

The hosts are a couple of “try hards” with lukewarm results. And their constant attempts to try and be clever and go viral with some lame saying, the whole podcast just falls flat. They don’t come across as genuine. Both hosts act like they are playing the part that was assigned to them.

Their comedy is as funny as a late 1980s SNL skit that was cut from air.

Great show with plenty of pinball, but also other funny stuff sprinkled in that keeps it entertaining. Great dynamic between Zach and Dennis.  Love market trends.  Always look forward to each episode.

2+ hour podcast with minimal pinball discussion. Not sure how anyone could listen to this 2 hour podcast and remain interested. Lame attempts at humor; stupid singing; awful funny voices, and that was in the first 20 minutes alone.

Not as good as the old TWIP podcast, but ill take it.  Dennis is the star of the show, his job is to reality check Zach.  Zach will try to argue outrageous things such as the definition of a fan layout, The Hobbit is a good game, and toppers are worth the price.   Shall we play a game?  That is what I miss the most about the TWIP podcast, all the random games Zach would make up.  "Terry What Is You Doin?"

Enjoy the show. Nice to hear the weekly updates on the manufactures and upcoming games.

Sometimes though the goofy sound clips and Zack getting worked up and loud is a bit much when listening through ear buds. Maybe lower the volume on the FX or use less.

Other than that.... a good informative show.

This show keeps me laughing. I love the exaggerated salesman schtick for pinball market trends, followed by Dennis's annoyance by it!

Dennis and Zach make me laugh every week! They're like the dynamic duo of pinball!

My favorite pinball podcast! Zach is hilarious and has the voice of an angel. Cowboy Kriesel and the screaming goat are good too.

This is the podcast that probably makes me laugh the most. I really enjoy the dynamic between Zach and Dennis.

You have a little bit of everything in this show. Info, knowledge, deals, steals, bad buys, bad ideas and horrible singing. It’s a hoot and a holler. I holler more than I hoot, but’s it’s just what I need.

I can't get enough of the top level content and information you guys provide. I am thrilled there is a new channel to listen to. Ken & Zach have the best take and reviews of all things pin. VERY informative and just the right amount of humor to keep thins interesting and not dry like some of the others. Any time I see that Zach has posted something new I have to check it out immediately. Great job guys!!!!

What can I say.  One of the best pinball podcasts.  Zach Meny & Dennis Kriesel do an excellent job bringing the pinball news of the week to the community.  Their podcasts is  knowledgeable, informative and humorous.  Come on........everyone loves Market Trends and Screaming Goats!  I always look forward to listening to the show every week.

Big fan of the show. Since listening to this podcast my interest in all things pinball has really grown. I even bought my first pinball machine, a NIB TMNT Pro. I recommend this podcast to both avid pinball fans and beginners alike.

The pinball show is unique in that it offers a variety of segments that are sure to hit at least one of your interests in the hobby.  The hosts are polar opposites and that actually makes for some fun banter. Sometimes things can get a little too off topic... but it helps kill some time during the work week.

I really enjoy the podcast! It is a very informative show with great pinball discussion...and facts. I find the dynamic between the hosts to be hilarious.  One struggles with self-awareness and the other struggles with humor.  I say this jokingly as both of the hosts are fantastic people! 

 Together, they make for an awesome team!  I listen every week.

I can't imagine a life without Market Trends!

I love this show! I have been listening to Zach for 3 years now since STDM and TWIP podcast and have always enjoyed his knowledge and insight. Over the years I have gotten to know Zach and bought a couple machines from him. Great guy. When Dennis entered the TWIP podcast it was always the best show. I was extremely sad when the TWIP podcast ended but soon after Zach and Dennis started the Pinball Show which is exactly the same as TWIP (but better). Give me Zachs beautiful voice, screaming goats, Dennis' exhaling in disappointment and all the other crazy antics. Love you guys and love the show!

Zack is the wild card, Dennis saves the show. Zack shoots first then asks questions, Dennis thinks three times before speaking. Sometimes i feel bad for Dennis as he has to make sense of the nonsensical Zack. and sometimes i feel bad for Zack as he trys to have fun with Dennis. This is a podcast you can learn something from while also laughing at stupid ideas and bad impressions.

Zach and Den Den are a great source of pinball news on a weekly basis. Entertaining deep dives  for everything pinball.

Most excellent podcast, Dennis and Zach are the best and have great camaraderie. Easily in my top 3 podcasts.

Dennis and Zach put together awesome podcasts that entertains and informs, most definitely worth checking out for the humor, insights and current goings on in the greater pinball community. Give it a listen and enjoy!

I have listen to every tps podcast, and it is a guilty Monday pleasure that gets me ready the week. From off color joke like soft reboot, the hilarious market trend and Dennis's insight,  it is a must listen.

This is a great "weekly" podcast that provides entertainment and industry knowledge. Personally I enjoy Zach's infinite segments but I think I might enjoy Dennis' criticism even more.

Zach would be rocky road due to the drama that surrounds his involvement in the pinball hobby, yet it is filled with delicious ingredients and is put together in a great overall package.

Dennis is classic, humble and sophisticated just like his pick of pistachio. We haven't been able to find a better counterpart for Zach to balance out his personality.

They both provide a great deal to this hobby and I want to thanks them for all they both do outside of this specific podcast.

This is the cornerstone show of TPN and is the highlight of every Monday morning drive. May the singing and goat screems and market trends go on for decades. Bravo fellas.

Never thought I would write a positive review about something with ‘goat’ content...  Zach and Dennis have a great back and forth, neither letting the other slide when it comes to opinions.  Toppers rule!

This is my main podcast each week.   The hosts are perfectly matched in opinions and styles.   They offer humor, facts, and fun as I get my news about my favorite hobby.

Plus they focus on the positive and don't go to the gutter like many people do (i.e. made up stories, trashing people, etc).   

Give them a listen.  I'm sure they will put a smile on your face while you get up to date on your favorite hobby.

JK with my title. These 2 have a very likable back and forth, and sort of bring “the odd couple” approach to pinball entertainment. Zach’s unbridled enthusiasm (and occasional shilling) balances well with the intellectual skeptic opinions of Dennis (who is indeed always right IMO in most debates). Sorry Zach (the arguments for Popeye, Stranger Things, toppers, and the Hobbit are probably to blame here). Love the show! Thanks to you both for the weekly content! You make a great team.

Zach and Dennis are a great mix, I’ve said it since their days on TWIP. A lot of opinions in this hobby and these are two I take seriously. I look forward to listening every week

Every episode  is an instant download for me. Always enjoyable when these two get on the mic and let loose.  Double D drops the knowledge while Zach brings the color commentary on the current hot topics in pinball.

I always look forward to listening to The Pinball Show to get the current pinball news and talk.  Zach and Dennis do a decent impersonation of The Odd Couple and do a good job of covering different perspectives the topics presented.   Overall, a good program and nice to see pinball content produced on a daily basis.

I really enjoy what Zach and Dennis bring to the table... Zach is hilarious and Dennis counterbalances his exuberance with rational thought.  Makes for some entertaining exchanges... and Zach’s humor as it’s revealed through various bits and added audio production is great.   I hope these guys keep it going for a long time!  Thanks for all of the entertainment!!

Co-hosts Zach Meny and Dennis Kriesel focus mainly on the latest pinball industry news and offer up their own very unique, knowledgeable and often contrary opinions. I have to say the ‘pinball market trends’ segment is ballooning out of control and probably can warrant its own separate podcast at this point. 

Although I can't say the product reviews sound totally unbiased, I don't fault Zach promoting his business on air, I would much rather have him do it this way than inserting actual commercial breaks (people really need to actually learn the definition of what a "shill" is before recklessly hurling the term around). 

Maybe the only real fault of the show is at times it can feel like the show is hosted by a 7-year-old who just discovered his parents' cassette recorder and is pretending to be a morning radio DJ. But mild annoyances aside (I’m looking at you screaming goat) overall it’s a pretty entertaining and informative start to your week.

I believe that Ken Cromwell has been the best pinball podcaster in the business for the last couple of years. So if I were putting together an innovative pinball network of shows that I was going to call The Pinball Network, Ken would be the first person that I would get on board to head up my flagship show. That is exactly what Zach Meny did when he created The Pinball Show. Ken came and brought his gang of pinball industry reporters from his old show, Special When Lit. Though I preferred Ken with Bill Webb on SWL, The Pinball Show was showing promise with Ken at the helm. Then Jersey Jack Pinball made Ken an offer he couldn’t refuse and he left for a paying job in the industry.

Now that Zach is taking the lead, I feel like I am just listening to the old TWIP podcast and not a new dynamic show for a new network. The show is still entertaining and I always listen, but I really miss Ken. Though some pinball hobbyists complain that Zach is not objective because he is a pinball distributor, I love to hear his distributor’s take on the industry. Zach really knows his stuff. Thankfully, with Ken’s departure Dennis Kriesel has agreed to appear every week and the two do make a good team, though I wish Zach would spend less time trying to be funny. In those instances Dennis serves as Zach’s straight man and his disdain for many of Zach’s “humorous” comments are the funniest moments in the show. When focussed on the industry, the guys are knowledgeable about pinball and their conversations are usually insightful. And though it can go on too long and I don’t understand how a commentary about another pinball podcaster fits in the segment, I actually enjoy Pinball Market Trends. Sorry Dennis.

I really enjoy this show. It's a must listen when it pops up on my feed. Very funny and knowledgeable co-hosts.

It is refreshing to have 2 people disagree. Even if it is a bit much sometimes. Lots of shows are a unified front and all they do is agree with each other. Not this one. There is always push back from the other.

Dennis is the Yin to Zach's Yang.  (That sounds dirty)

If you like screaming goats, this is the Pinball podcast for you. Zach and Dennis work well together, with Zach acting as the crazy guy and Dennis the voice of reason. Well Done!

Sometimes I feel Zach should be more thoughtful!

Every episode of the Pinball Show is worth my time. I have it set on automatic download and will listen to it the moment it drops. I'll even stop listening to other pods (accept Silverball Chronicles) right in the middle! Why? Because of the best two person booth in Pinball Media. Period!

Dennis balances Zach, and Zach balances Dennis. Think Zach is being a distro shill? Dennis will too and call him out! Think Dennis is being a Den Den Downer? Zach will edit in snoring and call him out! Awesome stuff...

Add in 'vetted' rumours, discussion on the hobby's news and a few fun games like Pinball Password and you've got 5 f'n stars!

Great entertaining banter between two great hosts. Too many people take this hobby too seriously! This podcast is perfect for the enthusiast that just loves all things pinball... and goats!

The Pinball Show is one of my must listen to Pinball podcasts. Always happy to see a new episode ready to listen to!

I started listening to this show based on the SDTM reviews and the fun that Greg & Zach had doing those. That has not transferred to the The Pinball Show. Dennis brings the professional side to things and Zach as a side kick is just way to over the top and not even funny (although HE thinks he is) Lets stick to the news in pinball, and some honest reviews.  I think Dennis needs the other SDTM guy as his partner.

I'm a fan of this podcast, BUT FOR HEAVENS SAKE WHY DO YA HAVE TO BLAST THAT DAMN GOAT NOISE AT RANDOM ALL THE TIME! LMAO it's really not a problem for me but Id imagine for some it's an issue! Zach is like a little kid who crys if you don't listen to his point of view when paired with Dennis, who is the more grounded and levelheaded point of view. I love their dynamic it's alot of fun to listen to while driving in my vehicles. It is hard to be involved in pinball from a business standpoint and also be a big part of the media scene within the hobby! Zach has the best attitude towards the hobby and I'm glad he takes the time to be involved with so many different aspects of it! Gotta hand it to him he can keep pushing his business in EVERYONE'S FACE better than any other distributor currently in north America... I just wish he could honestly review a stern machine honestly and not be worried about how they react! He needs to realize that he does have a voice they will listen to, all of his clients are happy from what I can see and they would stand by his honest opinion if he said: "these playfields are a crap shoot right now, but I'll do my best to protect you in case of any issues."  Anyway this is about the podcast! They have a great format and I love the banter easily one of the top ten podcasts currently being created. And lets all not forget the TWIPY AWARDS WOULDN'T BE A THING FOR DEADFLIP OR KANEDA TO BRAG ABOUT HAD ZACH AND GREG NOT COME UP WITH THE CONCEPT AND FOLLOWED THROUGH FOR THE WHOLE COMMUNITY TO ENJOY! ZACH HAS A MIND FOR PINBALL MEDIA! LOVE HIM OR HATE HIM... OR SHOULD I say buy,buy buy... or sell,sell,sell him. Bit don't EVER FORGET HIM AND HIS POSITIVE IMPACT TO THE HOBBY!

When it comes to multi-host news-oriented pinball podcasts, it doesn't get better than The Pinball Show with Zach and Dennis.
