Cooltoy announces a finished, free, retro-styled custom code mod for Jersey Jack Pinball machines themed around Sonic the Hedgehog, replacing over 600 video and audio assets across all three QR levels (easy, normal, wizard). The mod adds a boot menu to toggle between stock and custom code, new attract/game-over sequences, 16-bit style remixed music, a skateboard in place of the snowboard sequence, and new boss and multiball sequences. The video is a pre-trip update before the host travels to Pinball Expo.

Pinball Expo Week! - Sonic Retro Code For Jersey Jack Pinball Machines I created a nostalgic retro code update for the Sonic The Hedgehog pinball machines! It's loaded with new music, sound effects, animations, gameplay clips and more! This mod is only possible thanks to the amazing work of @davidavanderburgh and his Pinball Asset Decryptor. The code file is an ISO and works like a factory reset per the same specifications as code updates downloaded directly from the JJP website. Installing this code file follows the same process outlined by JJP. Consider performing a USB backup of Settings & Hi-Scores before installing my modified code, since they will be reset back to their factory defaults. Below are the PC & Mac instructions to follow after downloading the modified game ISO file that will allow you to create a USB boot drive that you will plug into your machine to install my Retro Sonic modified code.
