Summary
Solid State Pinball Supply operators discuss pinball business challenges amid new game releases and competition.
Eclectic Gamers Podcast Episode 124 features Kerry Wing and Nick Greenup from Solid State Pinball Supply discussing their business operating pinball machines, parts sales, and routing in Kansas City. The episode covers recent Stern releases (Avengers Infinity Quest), upcoming Jersey Jack Guns N' Roses, Deep Root's delayed reveal, and broader industry challenges including pricing, licensing complexity, and competition between manufacturers.
Tony and Dennis are joined by Nick Greenup and Keri Wing of Solid State Pinball Supply. In this entirely pinball episode they talk about Avengers, JJP, Deeproot, routing games, growing a pinball venue in a pandemic, and play a challenging game of guess-the-fix-to-this-pinball! Note: Skype had some audio latency issues so there are some strange pauses intermittently during the episode (editing helps but some of the breaks will be obvious, be forewarned!)
