Stern Transformers Pinball Machine Surprised Me! | Honest First Impressions
Summary
First-impressions video of Stern's Transformers LE at UK Pinball Fest, praised as deeper than Pokémon.
Gonzo's Pinball Flipperama shares first impressions of the Stern Transformers limited edition, played at UK Pinball Fest on a machine owned by Neil McRae. The host, having only played Pokémon before, finds Transformers shoots quickly, feels more complex than Pokémon, and praises its ramp layout and a hidden 40th anniversary timed mode. The video is a subjective, unscripted first-play reaction rather than a technical review.
Stern’s Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye pinball machine surprised me—but these are strictly my first impressions, not a full review. This was my first opportunity to get my hands on the new Transformers pinball machine, and I only managed two quick games with a single camera recording the action. Even so, I enjoyed what I played and immediately wanted another game. In this video, I talk through the shots, layout, toys and general feel of the machine while trying to understand what it wants me to do. There is plenty I haven’t discovered yet, so I’m hoping to get one into the Flipperama for a much longer test and a proper review. Have you played Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye yet? Let me know what you think of it—and whether those positive first impressions survive extended ownership.
