Kineticist’s take
Stern's new G1 Transformers pinball features Elliott Eisman design, Elizabeth Gieske code, original cartoon audio, and strong thematic appeal.
Synopsis
RetroRalph attends a Stern Pinball media event for the new G1 Transformers pinball game, designed by Elliott Eisman with code lead Elizabeth Gieske. The game features premium audio including the original cartoon theme song, multiple shot types (Megatron Cannon, Optimus Prime scope, Soundwave), single pop-bumpers instead of clusters, and a training/practice mode. Ralph expresses enthusiasm about the G1 cartoon theming and notes this appears to be Stern's answer to Pokemon as a major IP cornerstone release.
