Episode 235 – Backwards Speedo

Slam Tilt hosts celebrate Stern's Uncanny X-Men reveal while previewing Jersey Jack's Avatar.

Ron Hallett and Bruce Nightingale discuss the newly teased Stern Uncanny X-Men pinball machine and Jersey Jack's upcoming Avatar reveal. Bruce expresses unusual enthusiasm for X-Men due to its artwork by Zombie Yeti and innovative playfield design by Jack Danger, including Gottlieb-inspired mechanics like gold wings bottom and breaking habit trails. They also cover Jersey Jack's Avatar with six flippers and multiple playfields, debate game burial dynamics (X-Men likely overshadowing John Wick), and touch on recent pinball community news including Stan Lee's passing.
