Set in a church building built in 1890, The Playhouse is a trendy hangout in Rochester, NY right on the border of the Southwedge and Swillburg neighborhoods. The Playhouse has a full bar with craft cocktails, two floors full of vintage arcade games, and Swillburger, a modern take on American burger joints complete with vegan and gluten free options. Play classic arcade games like Pacman and Donkey Kong, newer games like Guitar Hero, plus skeeball, shuffleboard, and a whole room dedicated to pinball with modern favorites and a couple of 90’s classics. Swillburger is family friendly until 10pm.

Have you ever had a crush on a grocery store? You might develop one at MOM's Organic Market in Abington, PA. Sure, it is a fresh fruit and veggie store with bulk goods and a sustainable clothing line. But behind a partition in their own little room you’ll find a paradise of silver balls, flippers, and blinking lights awaits you. There are also a couple of video game cabinets, and all games and these classic pins are 50 cents to play so bring your quarters. Do try the cooked edible insects like mealworms and crickets while you’re in the grocery store, won’t you?

Mission control is a barcade bringing the '80s back with style, video arcade games, and pinball machines. Their video game collection includes Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. For pinball machines, they have classic games, including Jurassic Park and Attack from Mars. Mission Control does have pinball tournaments. It is located on the 2nd floor of the McFadden Public Market and usually has a DJ playing awesome music. Children are allowed during the day but 21+ at 9 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. 

Jilly's Arcade is on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey. It is open daily and year-round for family fun. They have over 100 retro and modern arcade games, including pinball machines, crane games, driving games, air hockey, pool tables, skee ball, and more. The pinball collection includes Stranger Things, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, The Munsters, and much more. They have something for kids of all ages. 

Flippers Family Arcade is a family-friendly arcade that is suitable for all ages. They have classic and modern video games and a large variety of pinball machines. They have driving sports and air hockey games. The pinball collection includes a good mix of games. Their menu includes burgers, hot dogs, and appetizers. They also have domestic and imported beers, specialty drinks, and seltzers. 

Press Start Bar and Arcade have classic video arcade games. They also have a full bar. Besides pinball and video arcade games, there is a pool table and air hockey table. Families and minors are welcome until 7 pm in the game room. The bar is 21+ all the time.

They have a full bar with beer, ciders, and mixed drinks. The Coin Slot does not have food but has food trucks on a regular basis. They are 21+ after 9 pm.

Kickback is a colorful, quirky joint with two floors of classic and modern pinball machines serving homemade sandwiches, salads, a full espresso menu, and fresh rotating single-origin drip coffee. Dorky's Arcade in downtown Tacoma, WA is an arcade experience not to be missed, with nearly every arcade game you can imagine. Pac Man Battle Royale, a Pong table, an entire section dedicated to Star Wars, including the new Star Wars Battle Pod, Space Invaders, and air hockey and foosball. Games take quarters and all ages are welcome until 10p.m. Dorky’s has an insane beer selection of about 300 crafts, imports and ciders, and an impressive menu complete with vegan dishes. Arcade Monsters is an arcade, bar, and restaurant with an anime and classic game theme. The Oviedo location has over 150 games and an anime-themed bar. They have classic video arcade games, pinball machines, and rhythm games. They also have classic bites, Cuban food, craft beer, wine, natural slushies, and dry ice drinks. Arcade Monsters also holds tournaments and special events. All ages are welcomed at the Arcade Monsters arcade. 

Another Castle Arcade in Edmonds is any age all the time retro arcade. They specialize in retro and new video arcades and pinball machines. They have a large pinball collection, as well as DDR. They have a wide variety of beers and snacks. They have an IFPA pinball tournament on Saturdays and an amateur/kid pinball tournament on Sundays. 

Prince Arcades in Bolingbrook, Illinois is a great place to get your retro gaming fix. With 10 pinball machines and a ton of classic arcade games, it's perfect for anyone looking for a dose of nostalgia. The focus at Prince Arcades is solely on the games; there's no bar or restaurant here but it's in a plaza where they are plenty around. That said, it's one of the few places where you can get that full retro mall arcade experience, as it's located in an open-air shopping center. Best of all, games are on free play with a $15 admission fee. So if you're in the Chicago suburbs area and are looking for a great place to bring the family (or just want to relive your childhood), Prince Arcades is the perfect spot. And bonus you can play an Al's Garage Band Goes on a World Tour (Alvin G) which you don't see very often in public locations.

LeaderBoard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria in Orange Park near Jacksonville, FL took over an Applebee’s and kept the layout: a bar in the center surrounded by modern arcade games, including a great selection of Japanese games, Dance Dance Revolution and modern pinball machines. The pizza alone is worth the trip and the fried jalapenos do not disappoint either. Grab a beer, cocktail or Japanese soda and fill your game card. Time to get on the leaderboard.

World 1-1 Games in Santa Maria’s Town Center Mall is a California Central Coast hometown video game and pop culture store with impossible-to-find collectibles and an extensive arcade.
