Jersey Jack Pinball is an American pinball manufacturer founded in January 2011 by Jack Guarnieri, who had serviced pinball machines in New Jersey since the 1970s and ran the online distributor PinballSales.com from 1999. Guarnieri started the company in Lakewood, New Jersey. Its first machine, The Wizard of Oz, shipped in April 2013 and was the first American-made pinball machine from a company other than Stern Pinball since 2001. It put a full-color LCD screen in the backbox, RGB LED lighting on the playfield, and licensed film clips into the game — features other manufacturers picked up in the years after.
JJP followed with The Hobbit in 2016 and Dialed In!, designed by Pat Lawlor, in 2017. Pirates of the Caribbean shipped in 2018 and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory in 2019. In February 2020 the company announced it would move manufacturing from Lakewood to Elk Grove Village, Illinois, consolidating fabrication with the design and engineering staff already based nearby in Bensenville. Guns N' Roses, released later that year, was the first machine built at the new plant.
Since the move, JJP has kept up a roughly annual release pace: Toy Story 4 (2022), The Godfather (2023), Elton John (2023), Avatar: The Battle for Pandora (2024), and Harry Potter (2025). In June 2026 the company revealed its twelfth machine, Sonic the Hedgehog, designed by Steve Ritchie under license from SEGA and timed to the 35th anniversary of the original video game.
