Synopsis

Stern Pinball officially announces Metallica Remastered, a complete remake of the 2008 original designed by John Borg and Lyman Sheets. The 2024 release features an LCD screen with new animations and concert footage, Expression Lighting, Insider Connected integration, 20+ songs (8 new), enhanced Sparky with UV effects, over 1,000 new band callouts, and refined playfield mechanics including improved drop targets and new ramps. George Gomez presents the announcement with designers John Borg and Raymond Davidson detailing technical improvements across video, lighting, audio, and mechanical systems.
