We find ourselves at the beginning of 2024 and we’re proud to feature the last installment of our 3-part interview series with David Crane, Dan Kitchen and Garry Kitchen where, over the course of three inter-connected interviews, we explore: * Part 1 – Atari and the Activision years (audio in episode 114) * Part 2 – the Absolute Entertainment years (audio in episode 115) * Part 3 – the birth of their new development and publishing company – Audacity Games (audio in this episode) The YouTube video for each panel is linked above if you’d like to watch the discussion as it happened. It’s our hope that you enjoy this very special presentation and retrospective look at the long and storied history of Activision and the people behind the powerhouse that it became. It's the (hopeful) end of Winter weather here in the Bluegrass and that means the expo circuit is right around the corner. In that vein, we feature a discussion about the upcoming 2022 Louisville Arcade Expo with organizers Corey Stup and Joe Stith and get amped up for the show - especially coming off of a two-year hiatus! In addition, we review our gaming, pinball and hobby-related activities for the last month (Brent works on his Championship Sprint, Carnival King and his Tron dies) and Whitney has been busy 3D printing shelf spacers for the IKEA Billy bookcase, discusses the 3DS and WiiU eShop closure and puts a notch in his belt with a now-complete Activision patch collection(!!) We continue our discussion on traveling tool storage, when buying "too many" parts is "too much", open the mailbag to respond to viewer feedback (and take some heat with some of it), and have a very eye (ear!?!?!)-opening discussion about Multimorphic's reveal of "Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity" pinball and really put the whole "new pinball" topic on its edge. 100: Thank You For Being A Friend

Yes – after almost eight (8!!!) years of classic arcade and pinball goodness, we’ve hit a podcasting milestone and we are so glad to be able to share this very special episode with our listener family. This episode is a bit of a break from the norm – in that after our gameroom and hobby updates (which are brief this time around) we jump straight into the heart of the show and reminisce a good bit about the past 8 years under the umbrella of the BT brand and what it has meant to us. We talk about our most memorable experiences with doing the show, discuss our top 3 favorite interviews over the past 99 episodes and even dig into our favorite show tropes that have taken on a bit of a life of their own since we first released episode 1 back in September 2013… yes… 2013…. amazing. We also discuss some thoughts for some future plans for the show, and discuss how we can better involve you in the show community. As a special treat, we are also re-running two of our favorite interviews from the prior years. 97: Trolled By The Best

It only took 97 episodes, but it finally happened. We were lured in by the promise "of the next pin" and Stern Pinball got us hook, line and sinker. SPOILER ALERT: It was actually just jigsaw puzzles.... *sigh* With that humble pie out of the way, we get on to the business of what was February (??) 2021. Brent finds his way to the game he never wanted - William's Make Trax and concludes the Rottondog saga of working on a High Speed. Whitney shares some lessons learned on nozzles for the Ender 3 series printers and makes a C64 pickup. Let those games begin... We talk about a new Raster+Vector TPG that was just announced from "Arcade Jason" (as well as discuss the upcoming TPG2 from CraftyMech), review the current state of multi-Pac kits and do some listener feedback while discussing some upgrade options for the Sega Dreamcast. And somewhere along the way, we talk some feedback on Bob Ross, the Pinball Hall of Fame's "angel" donor and Susie the Little Blue Coupe... yeah... figure that one out!
