BLACK ROSE Hidden for 30 YEARS Finally Sees the Light!

Video

Summary

Long-hidden Black Rose pinball arrives at Grazy garage; partially working, switch issues, price unsettled.

Pinball Shenanigans documents the long-awaited arrival of a 'Black Rose' pinball machine at the Grazy garage after roughly 30 years in a basement, brought over by Paul Der and Tom Slamma. The video also covers Kevin's in-progress projects (Super Mario Brothers Mushroom World, Flash Gordon, Monster Bash, KISS Black Edition), a Popeye shop job, and an arcade-space dilemma about which machines to sell. Black Rose machine is powered on and partially tested, but has switch-matrix and MPU compatibility issues that prevent a full game, and no price had been agreed.

From the creator

It's finally happening! After YEARS in the making, a fabled **Black Rose pinball machine that's been sitting in a basement for 30 YEARS** is finally coming out of hiding! Our buddy Paul and Tom bring this beauty over to the Grasley Garage, and it's time to give it the full treatment. This is one of those games that was produced in decent numbers, but you just don't see many of them around these parts, making this a very special addition to the Grasley Garage! But you know Kevin... he's not exactly a one-project-at-a-time kind of guy! While we're at the garage, we check in on his other amazing projects, including progress on **Flash Gordon, Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World, and Monster Bash**. What a lineup! We also get a look at the nearly completed **Popeye Saves the Earth playfield shop job**, check out Kevin's beautifully finished Bally **Kiss**, and, of course, put a few games on Popeye and Kiss. Then it's time to tackle the big one: getting Black Rose set up and running! And let me tell you, this machine doesn't make it easy. It puts up a fight, throws a few challenges our way, and tests our patience. But we're not giving up! After some tinkering and troubleshooting, we finally come out victorious and get to play a game on this long-hidden pirate-themed pinball beauty! **30 years in a basement. Years in the making. And now, Black Rose has officially arrived at the Grasley Garage!** This is Grasley Garage history in the making, and you won't want to miss it!
