Kickback is a colorful, quirky joint with two floors of classic and modern pinball machines serving homemade sandwiches, salads, a full espresso menu, and fresh rotating single-origin drip coffee. There’s no better way to fight existential dread than flipping out – on a pinball machine! BYOB. 

Craft beer and pinball go together like peanut butter and jelly. So it's no surprise that we'd put the SingleCut QNS taproom high on our lists. Not only do they make consistently good beer, but they now offer a selection of pinball machines in the back that you can bang on while sipping brews. Games include a mix of picks from classics like Tales of the Arabian Nights to new releases like Stern's JAWS. According to reviews on Pinball Map, games appear to be well maintained. They also offer the occasional IFPA certified tournament. Besides pinball, this taproom also has a nice patio, live music, vinyl records, and a lot more to enjoy.

Arcade Monsters is an arcade, bar, and restaurant with an anime and classic game theme. The Oviedo location has over 150 games and an anime-themed bar. They have classic video arcade games, pinball machines, and rhythm games. They also have classic bites, Cuban food, craft beer, wine, natural slushies, and dry ice drinks. Arcade Monsters also holds tournaments and special events. All ages are welcomed at the Arcade Monsters arcade. 

Tik Tok’s Workshop in Bremerton, WA is a pinball arcade and steampunk bar where the owners are the local repair guys so these machines are always pristine. Tik Tok’s pinball lineup is a rotating collection with modern machines, but they also like to provide older pins that you may have never played and won’t find anywhere else. The owners work to grow the local pinball community by holding training events as well as walkthroughs of individual games and will even help familiarize you with the internal working of a pinball machine and give you basic troubleshooting pointers! Tik Tok’s is still a bar, so patrons must be 21 and up.

Another Castle Arcade in Edmonds is any age all the time retro arcade. They specialize in retro and new video arcades and pinball machines. They have a large pinball collection, as well as DDR. They have a wide variety of beers and snacks. They have an IFPA pinball tournament on Saturdays and an amateur/kid pinball tournament on Sundays. 

Pop's Pinball is a roving pop-up pinball parlor, currently located in Bow Market in Somerville, MA. The space is cozy with what we can describe as a 1970s Texas Bud-heavy vibe. Vintage paintings on the wall, antique seating, a well-worn oriental rug. A diverse lineup of interesting games that aren't always seen on location. Open from 11am-11pm daily, check social media for info on tournaments and events.

Come to Railroad Street Bar and Grill for the 30+ beers on tap and world-class grilled cheese sandwiches, stay for the lineup of 9 rotating pinball machines. There’s an old school arcade in Indy's mall! Boss Battle Games at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis, IN offers video arcade cabinets, pinball, console gaming and tabletop gaming in an arcade made to feel like a gaming convention. Pay one price at this retro arcade to play all day on Mortal Kombat, Gauntlet, and Tron, but you may have to drop a few quarters to play Godzilla or Deadpool pinball. Boss is all about the games, so no food or drinks available here. 

Gestalt is the quintessential San Francisco craft beer dive bar and barcade. Tucked away in a corner of the city, Gestalt is a dark and divey bar focused on craft beer and eight different pinball machines. The small food menu offers delicious sausages and German soft pretzels to soak up all the beer you'll be drinking. Gestalt also offers pinball leagues and tournaments for those who want to get competitive. And if pinball isn't your thing, they also occasionally have DJ nights where they play vinyl records. Outer Orbit is a barcade in San Francisco, California with a small pinball collection of seven machines. They're big supporters of the local pinball community and frequently host tournaments and events. Outer Orbit is 18+ only, but they have family days on Wednesdays and Sundays. In addition to their bar games, they also serve Hapa-Hawaii style food that's become popular with their visitors. Their menu includes items like Garlic Noodles, Spam Musubi, and Loco Moco. You can wash all of this down with one of their many craft beers, wine, or sake options. People love Outer Orbit for its tasty food and cool environment. So if you're ever in San Francisco, be sure to check it out!

Knub's Pub is the ideal spot for a night out, thanks to its extensive craft beer selection and classic American bar food. Even better, Knub's has seven pinball machines on site, operated by Solid State, so you know they'll be in top condition! Pinheads can rejoice because Knub's Pub also hosts regular tournaments for competitive players. Knub's is an absolute must-stop venue for anyone wanting to relax with a great brew and challenge themselves at beating the local pinball high scoree.

As one of the few independent theaters in New Orleans, LA, The Broad Theater attracts locals from Treme to Slidell. Step back in time inside this small theater to enjoy real butter on your popcorn and fresh lemonade, a few bar offerings, and the Mystic Krewe Pinball Parlor with nostalgic games like Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man and a rotating line-up of pinball machines belonging to the Mystic Krewe. Now, lean in and we’ll whisper a local legend: Mystic Krewe actually does operate the best pinball parlor in New Orleans. It’s just not in this spot and it isn’t open to the public. However, if you’re a serious pinhead and a regular around these parts, you may be extended an exclusive invitation. 

Game Underground is a community gaming space with a small retro arcade, a few pinball machines and lots of events, tournaments, and competitions. Focus is more on retro gaming than pinball, but they have both to enjoy.

Imbibe in Indianapolis, IN is a dive bar with an upstairs gameroom that includes pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, air hockey, foosball and ping pong. Did we mention the pinball? Newer Sterns like Black Knight Sword of Rage, Deadpool and Iron Maiden, and a couple gems from Bally and Williams, too.  Imbibe is 21+ and serves Gatsby themed cocktails and surprisingly good pizza.
