"Dr. Dude and His Excellent Ray," released by Bally in October 1990, is a pinball machine designed by Dennis Nordman. The game features a vibrant, cartoon-styled, sci-fi theme, aiming to transform the player into a "Super Dude" by collecting key elements: the Heart of Rock ‘n Roll, the Gift of Gab, and the Magnetic Personality.
The game is known for its engaging playfield elements, including the "Molecular Mixmaster"—a spinning disc that adds unpredictability to the gameplay. Additionally, the "Big Shot" character on the playfield and various humorous callouts contribute to the game's unique charm.
