From the creator

Well, folks… **IT’S OVER. WE ACTUALLY DID IT!** 🎉 After six months of procrastination, persistence, troubleshooting, tinkering, and occasionally wondering why I started this project in the first place, the Allied Leisure Getaway restoration has finally reached the finish line! And yes, procrastination and persistence is an oxymoron. Around here, we specialize in those. 😂 In **Part 18 of the Allied Leisure Getaway saga**, we're tackling those last little jobs before doing something truly radical… actually PLAYING the machine! 🔧 **THE FINAL TWEAKS** - Clean and adjust the pop bumpers so they're nice and snappy. - Solve the mysterious problem of the machine adding multiple players when it shouldn't. - Add some protective diodes to the MPU for a little extra peace of mind. 🕹️ **THEN IT'S GAME TIME!** With the repairs behind us, it's time to play a few games and properly put this machine through its paces. I'll learn and explore some of Getaway's game rules, discuss the features, and show off some of the fun gameplay that makes this vintage pinball machine worth saving. We'll enjoy a couple of farewell games, celebrate what we've accomplished, and give this old machine the send-off it deserves. And somewhere along the way, it hits me… **BAM! WE'RE DONE HERE, FOLKS!** The machine is working, the project is complete, and the Great Allied Leisure Getaway Heist is officially over. Six months later, we pulled it off! It took procrastination. It took persistence. It took a little patience and a lot of shenanigans. But we got there in the end. A huge THANK-YOU to everyone who's followed this series, watched the videos, offered advice, and joined me on this restoration adventure. It's been a blast sharing the highs, the lows, and all the weird little problems that come with bringing a vintage pinball machine back to life. But don't worry… finishing one project just means there's room for another! **THE GETAWAY IS COMPLETE. WE GOT AWAY.
