Mir persönlich gefallen die Home Pins. Was sagst Du dazu? Danke @PinballuniverseDeutschland für diese Gelegenheit! [QUICK GUIDE #182]
Scoring goals? Check. Training skills and goalkeeping? Check. Hitting moving defenders on a playfield acting as drop targets? Double check. Any soccer pinball game that has satisfying shots, especially for goals, is a good game. This is one of them. Table difficulty and grinding, though, is fairly high, considering the amount of saves needed and the endurance in clearing all five elite skills.
Twilight Zone gameplay with commentary on modes and shot difficulty.
Just a quick game of TZ I thought to myself. I did not expect LITZ on ball one. My GC had two LITZ in one game. Want to know what gear I stream pinball and arcade games with?
Halfway into 2026 and only 3 new titles, Chris and Jared want to know, where are the tables Zen? Will we get 12 for the year? Did Zen put a freeze on releasing new titles until the AtGames lawsuit is finished? Some crazy speculation as well as a look at what Zen just dropped into Pinball FX VR. I WANT ONE! You unlocked the door to a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of absolute mechanical complexity. In this episode of The Skill Shot, we step up to the 1993 Bally Twilight Zone — a widebody juggernaut widely considered the most complicated pinball machine ever built. Designed by the legendary Pat Lawlor at the absolute peak of the 1990s solid-state golden age, Twilight Zone didn't just break the rules; it rewrote them. This machine holds the industry record for the most patents pending in a single title, cramming an impossible array of features into one cabinet: the working mechanical gumball machine, the infamous high-heat clock, a magnetic "Powerfield" upper playfield, and the physical ceramic Powerball — a completely non-magnetic white ball that flies across the playfield at terrifying speeds. Fans of the premium retro documentaries on Bitvint or the deep industry history on the Silverball Chronicles know that the 90s "SuperPin" era was total madness. To fully appreciate the widebody geometry that high-level tournament players analyze on channels like PAPA Pinball and WayOut Pinball, you have to break down how Lawlor packed every conceptual idea he had into the framework. We look at the classic TV show episode tie-ins hidden in the mode door panels, the music engineering tricks, and live gameplay showing how to tackle the beautiful chaos. Finally, I run Twilight Zone through the FlipScore — my 5-category, 100-point rubric covering Shots, Code & Depth, Theme, Build Quality, and Resale Value — to see if this notoriously complex game room grail is still worth the maintenance and money today. 🎯 Manufacturer: Bally / Midway (1993) 🎨 Designer: Pat Lawlor 🔧 System: Williams WPC / Fliptronics II 🎰 Production: ~15,235 units 🛡️ Innovations: Ceramic Powerball, Magnetic Flipper Powerfield, Gumball Machine 🏆 FlipScore: 91/100 💬 What is your absolute favorite mode on Twilight Zone? Do you prefer it over The Addams Family? Let's talk in the comments!
