The Addams Family is hitting the road! 🚚 In this episode of Pinball Shenanigans, I load up my Addams Family pinball machine and head out to my friend Rob Noel's place, where he's going to get it packed up and ready for its journey all the way to Alberta! During the drive, I tell the full story behind this Addams Family, including how I ended up with it and how it eventually came to be making this long-distance trip. Once I arrive at Rob's place, things get REALLY interesting. Rob gives me a tour of his absolutely EPIC games room, packed with some serious A-list pinball machines, along with a bunch of incredibly cool and unusual vintage games. We're talking shuffle pool, gun games, and all kinds of oddball arcade treasures you don't see every day! The tour is going great... until suddenly... THE POWER GOES OUT! 😱😂 Fortunately, the Pinball Shenanigans camera crew comes prepared! My camera has a light, so the show must go on as we explore a little more of Rob's collection in the darkness. And just when you think the Shenanigans are over, Rob takes me out for a quick cruise in his 1989 Jaguar 12-cylinder convertible. What a BEAUTY! The Addams Family DMD Swap Goes WRONG! 😱 More Pinball Shenanigans! The Color DMD is coming OUT of The Addams Family! In this episode, I pull the Color DMD and install a new old-stock original DMD display—but, of course, things don't go exactly as planned! 😅 I run into a few troubles along the way and have to do some troubleshooting to figure out what's going on. Come along as I battle through another repair, chase down the problems, and hopefully get everything working properly. And while we're at it, we take a quick look at the newly installed back glass on my Gottlieb James Bond 007 project machine. It definitely gives the old girl a whole new look! More repairs, more troubleshooting, more pinball—and, of course, more Shenanigans!

The 1977 Allied Leisure Getaway project continues in Part 9, and this time the battle is with the displays! 😤 The displays aren't working, and to make matters worse, they're not even getting the voltage they need. So naturally, it's time to start chasing voltages, checking bridge rectifiers, poking around the power circuits, and generally creating the perfect recipe for more Pinball Shenanigans! Thankfully, Corey Cooke from London Pinball lends a hand as we try to track down exactly where the display voltage is disappearing. We dig into the power supply, test those bridge rectifiers, follow the voltages, and eventually...... Will we finally get the displays alive again? Or will the Getaway continue to fight back? Come along for another episode of troubleshooting, testing, head-scratching, and hopefully a little progress on this very interesting Allied Leisure machine!
