Gonzo reconsiders maligned Stern Star Wars Pro after learning rules; praises UK pricing progress
In this video, Gonzo shows off his latest pinball machine – Stern’s Star Wars Pro. When this game was first released it received plenty of criticism from the pinball community, with many enthusiasts less than impressed by Steve Ritchie’s design. For a theme as big as Star Wars, expectations were incredibly high and the game divided opinion from day one. However, Stern machines are known for their fast gameplay, great flipper feel, flowing ramps and deep rule sets, and as prices have started to drop on the Star Wars Pro, it has become a far more attractive option for collectors and home arcades. In this video we take a closer look at the machine, talk about why it has been so controversial over the years, and explore whether it might actually be an underrated Stern pinball game. We’ll also dive into the layout, features and rules before finishing with some gameplay footage so you can see the machine in action. If you’re into pinball collecting, Stern machines or Star Wars themed games, this one’s definitely worth a look. Donate to help the channel here: 👇👇👇
