SpareMe Bowl & Arcade

SpareMe Bowl & Arcade, located at 404 E. College St #101 in downtown Iowa City, was a lively bowling and arcade destination in the Chauncey Building with a dozen bowling lanes, darts, skee‑ball and a curated pinball lineup that included The Jetsons, Star Trek Pro, Star Wars Pro Comic Edition, Jurassic Park Pro, Guardians of the Galaxy Pro, Iron Maiden Pro, Stranger Things Pro and Deadpool Pro. The venue drew strong local praise for its retro arcade offerings and event hosting but announced it would close permanently in late November 2025, marking the end of a popular social and gaming spot in downtown Iowa City.
