About
Steve Ritchie is one of the most legendary pinball designers in history, often called “The Master of Flow” for his signature fast, smooth gameplay. With a career spanning over five decades, Ritchie has created some of the best-selling and most influential pinball machines of all time, including Black Knight, Firepower, High Speed, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Spider-Man, and AC/DC. His innovative designs introduced industry-changing features like multi-ball, lane change, two-level playfields, and dynamic soundtracks, shaping the modern pinball experience. Known for his love of speed, high-energy themes, and adrenaline-fueled gameplay, Ritchie’s machines are favorites among both casual players and serious collectors.
From his early work at Williams to his groundbreaking games at Stern Pinball and now at Jersey Jack Pinball, Ritchie has remained at the forefront of pinball innovation. His creations have sold tens of thousands of units worldwide, and his impact on the industry is unparalleled. Whether it's the taunting voice of the Black Knight (voiced by Ritchie himself) or the thrill of nailing a perfectly smooth ramp shot, his games deliver an exhilarating experience like no other.
